As I’m writing this I feel like I’m in total need of some cleansing and an energized start of the week and what better way than to start with the Cucumber Cleanse smoothie? Last weekend was food-filled, in the form of the good (homemade Indian chicken/veggie curry), the bad (an awesome, juicy steak, cooked to perfection and at times a real necessity) and the ugly (junk food. Yes, I know I shouldn’t have, but it was fingerlickin’ good! ;-)).
So the Cucumber Cleanse Smoothie is what I’m going to start my day with and give my body a digestive break. So happy that kale is back in town and you should really try this in combination with raspberries and the fresh flavor of cucumber. This gets you up and running and totally balances out a food frenzy! Right? – RIGHT!!
