Overnight Oats

One of my go-to breakfasts is a nice bowl of steaming oatmeal with fruits and nuts. The thing is, sometimes you just have no time in the morning. But hey, leaving the house without breakfast? Nah!Overnight Oats are the solution! So easy to prepare the evening before and all you need to do in the morning is to add some nuts and fresh fruit and you are good to go! We found this great recipe on They have tons of great recipes and this one is definitely a keeper. So many great combo’s to try out, so go swap ingredients and personalize your overnight oatsl!

List of Ingredients:

  • 40 grams of Oats
  • 200 ml of (almond) Milk
  • 10 grams of Chia seeds
  • 5 grams of Flaxseeds
  • 2 Tsp of Honey
  • A pinch of Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp of Cocoa Nibs

To add the following day:

  • ½ a Banana
  • 4 Walnut halves

How to prepare:

Mix all the ingredients in a large glass or bowl. Stir well, cover with some plastic foil and store in the fridge. In the morning you’ll notice that it has firmed up. Stir again and top with banana and nuts. Enjoy!

Tip: I had a really early start the other day, so I made this in my smoothie container and had my breakfast on the train. Healthy, no hassle and delicious! Try not to forget a spoon!
