“Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.” – Henry James
It seems like the summer is moving on, although hopefully it’s just a short intermezzo and we’ll get those lovely summer days back for just a little while longer, until the end of September is not too much to ask, is it?
To help you bring back that summer vibe, we have put together a nice mixture of strawberries and redcurrants, since all things berry are good!! Notice that color? It’s candy cotton pink, and ok yes, maybe a bit girly, but it tastes so good! There is a perfect balance between tangy and sweet and when served cold, it’s a fab twist on a traditional lemonade.
How to prepare: Take the berries and squeeze them through a sift while holding it over a pitcher. By doing this, you’ll get the juice and the pulp without most of the seeds. After that pour water through it to get all the remaining good stuff in. Serve this as cold as you can by adding ice cubes or storing it in the fridge for a while. I bet this will be a new favorite among your friends!

Redcurrant Strawberry Lemonade Song: Wild Belle – Keep You (Ticklah Remix)
This eclectic track makes a nice pairing with this lemonade recipe. It has this funky feel to it, that just makes you want to move, make you go to the beach or organize a nice get together with your friends. Basically we just had to share it with you guys, because it will make your day!
Wilde Belle is an American indie rock band, composed by Natalie and Elliot Bergman. These Chicago siblings released their debut album, entitled Isles, March 2013 and since then their music was used in various TV-shows and movies, such as ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘The Way, Way Back’. Keep you was used in the movie ‘Pitch Perfect’, starring Anna Kendrick and we chose a cool remix of the song. Not sure when new music will be released, but give Isles a go and we will keep you updated!
