Having drinks with your friends on weekends is a perfect way to wind down and catch up. Now I love a nice G&T and a while ago I tasted this really nice Gin&Tonic combo with orange and rosemary. I had something similar ages ago in another bar, where they pushed some cloves into the orange peel for that extra spice. It was delicious! So this is something to try at home, but for anyone who’d like to leave the gin out, we turned our Rosemary-Orange Tonic into a mocktail. All the flavor, no post-party effects the day after.
List of Ingredients:
- 1 small bottle of your favorite Tonic Water (e.g. Indian Tonic, Fever Tree)
- Two pieces of (organic) Orange peel
- 2 Tbsp Orange Juice
- 1 sprig of Rosemary
- 3 Cloves
- Handful of Ice Cubes
How to make Rosemary-Orange Tonic
Slice two thin pieces of peel off the Orange and push Cloves into the peel. Add the peel to a tall glass and pour in the Orange Jucie and Ice Cubes. Before adding the Rosemary, rub it a little between your fingers, so the flavor is released. Pour Tonic Water into the glas and stir. Enjoy!
